We use intravenous (IV) sedation for any patient who desires it. Many patients have little or no recollection or memory of the procedure. For patients who choose not to be sedated, the doctor will administer a local anesthetic block.

During your visit, you will meet one-on-one with your doctor, who will perform your ultrasound, answer your questions, and discuss your options and future birth control.

The actual procedure is usually done in just a few minutes. Most patients feel well enough to return to their normal routine — even work — the same afternoon.

How much does a surgical abortion cost?

We understand that the rising cost of medical care is a real concern. We are committed to keeping abortion both safe and affordable. The cost for a surgical abortion starts at $900 for pregnancies up to twelve weeks. There may be small additional costs for necessary blood tests or Rhogam, but only if they are truly needed. We will never add unnecessary charges. We accept all major credit cards, Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal to make payment as easy as possible.

How early can I have a surgical abortion and how do I know how far along I am?

We will perform an ultrasound to determine exactly how far along you are. Our doctor can perform the procedure as early as a few days after your missed period, so you will never have to wait until seven weeks (like elsewhere) or feel forced to choose the abortion pill simply because you think it is too soon.

What is the latest I can have a surgical abortion?

While abortion is currently legal in Arizona up to 24 weeks, our doctor performs one-day procedures up to 15 weeks. If you are past 15 weeks, it will require a 2-day procedure and we will refer you to our trusted partner clinic.

I am overdue for my Pap smear and want STD testing. Can you do that?

Yes! We are a private OB/GYN office, not a clinic. The doctor can perform Pap smear and STD testing.
